The Old  Cottage                 BED AND BREAKFAST  

ADVISED DIRECTIONS.

 

The Old Cottage is situated to the south of Oban and is next to both Loch Melfort Hotel and the NTS Arduaine Garden. It is best to approach from either Oban to the north (A85, A816) or from Lochgilphead to the south (A83, A816).

Once in Arduaine village, look out for the large, brown tourist sign for Loch Melfort Hotel and NTS Arduaine Garden. Turn off the A816 and take a narrow lane down the hill for only 100 metres. Before the hotel, turn sharp right into the NTS car park driving through it and up the hill for just 30 metres or so. You will then have reached The Old Cottage.

Please be very careful if using a satellite navigation system as it could send you the long way here via a very minor road  adjacent to Loch Awe. Also, please do not rely on a combination of your sat nav system and our postcode as it will take you to a location 1 kilometre from here.
